According to the biblical account, God told Noah that he and his three sones, his wife and the wives of his sons, would enter the ark. It's called an ark in English, but here's a link to the hebrew word for it. It actually means nature. http://worldwideflood.org/ark/what_shape/ark_box.htmKathie Chiuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12336889047543366812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11188006.post-74365542884070281492014-03-30T22:02:35.793-07:002014-03-30T22:02:35.793-07:00Hi Stephen, that's a big question about righte...Hi Stephen, that's a big question about righteousness. Here is a link that describes my understanding in more detail. But I think if we put together "right and moral" and add "justice" we could say that Noah, as a righteous man, acted justly and was a morally upright man.

http://thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/justintaylor/2010/10/13/righteousness-of-god%E2%80%9D/Kathie Chiuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12336889047543366812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11188006.post-55604061992829411832014-03-30T19:42:58.439-07:002014-03-30T19:42:58.439-07:00Saw it last night. (David, Peter, Paul)
2) Were Ham and Jephath married when they entered the ark or did their wives enter the ark? (Just an interesting interpretation)

I enjoyed the depiction of the ark in that a rectangular raft leads itself mor towards the biblical account then dos a boat. No where does it say it was a boat, we just always make that assumption. Just my thoughts.

Lt. I...A very well written review of the movie Kathie.
I agree with you on every word 100%
My biggest issue with the film was why they felt it necessary to change things in the biblical account that would have better served the story line. Some things I found simply ridiculous ......as you pointed out
" While it had some good parts to it, the movie altered the story of Noah to its detriment. I think they could have stuck to the original story lines and it would have made more sense. There's more than enough room in the actual story to make a dramatic and suspenseful film using family dynamics, intense stress of not being able to save the supposed innocent. Those issues could easily create tension in the story and it would have been more believable."
-----------STRONGLY agree---------conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13661466624864738564noreply@blogger.com
